The Agar Nook Community Association
The Community Centre building is owned by the EMH group, however it is leased to
and ran by the Agar Nook Community Association (ANCA) management committee.
The ANCA Management Committee meets at least 4 times a year to discuss things such as
room hire rates, policies, procedures, finances and where the Centre should focus its efforts.
For 2018 the committee have decided to focus on Well being and mental health.
ANCA has an AGM once a year, at which a new board of trustees are elected.
All residents on the Agar Nook estate and/or users of the community centre are welcome to
become a member of the ANCA management committee and attend the meetings throughout the year.
At the annual AGM any member can put themselves forward for a trustee roles, provided
requirements set out under Charity Law are met.
